Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Worldwide Global Contracting, this position is responsible for all negotiations and contracting of tour elements as related to Collette's financial and product brand standards.

Job Functions:

  • Responsible for contracting all components required to develop and deliver the tour successfully. These contracts include hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, attractions, guides, and any component of a tour that has a value.
  • Achieve set contracting goals to ensure Collette's competitive position in the industry.
  • Confirm agreements that adhere to Collette's required terms and conditions.
  • Secure all inventory to support Collette's financial plan.
  • Manage and maintain all vendor relations regarding all contracting for tour series. This includes assisting with confirming add dates and/ or custom challenges when required.
  • Develop vendor negotiation strategy to achieve set goals.
  • Conduct research and make necessary preparations for in-destinations contracting meetings with each supplier and partner.
  • Support various departments with contracting issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to review excellence results and make changes to improve.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, travel & tourism or related field
  • Minimum Experience 5+ Years
  • Must be available to travel approximately 120 days per year
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong analytical knowledge and skills. Solid understanding of return on investment
  • Strong negotiator - prior contracting skills required with strong attention to detail
  • Results and Goal Driven
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships. Ability to relate to people in a variety of cultures
  • Friendly and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly build trust and understanding with the partners and vendors
  • Efficient and organized Able to sign contracts & secure dates on road so pricing is released
