Are you ready to make a difference in the heart of emergency response? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Shift Superintendents to be the cornerstone of our operations, providing essential support and leadership in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
As an integral part of the Peterborough County, we take pride in maintaining roads and bridges, overseeing land-use planning, and providing exceptional land ambulance services. What You'll do:
  • Be the First Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison for paramedics, the general public, and allied agencies, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations.
  • Field Response: Attend emergency calls, offering on-the-spot support and guidance to paramedics and logistics staff.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Collaborate with other management positions to maintain optimal service delivery and response to high call volumes.
  • Diverse Community Engagement: Work across both urban and rural settings, adapting to the unique challenges and needs of a varied community.
This job is for you if....
  • You have experience leading and directing staff.
  • You have strong organizational and prioritization skills and can balance many competing and changing tasks.
  • You are a certified Advanced Care or Primary Care Paramedic.
  • You have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • You have a strong attention to detail and are meticulous when creating documentation.
  • You consider yourself to be a life-long learner and are excited about the possibility of growing with a company.
  • You are easy-going and enjoy being part of a team.
