We are the premier houseboat destination on Shuswap Lake. With 1100 km of shoreline to explore onboard our luxurious Twin Anchor houseboats. Our guests have the ability to adventure and see the many highlights of the lake or relax on their houseboat. We are located at the largest marina on Shuswap lake surrounded by mountain scenery. It is the perfect location for after work adventures and to work in beautiful Sicamous, BC. Our company goal is to supply excellent service, support and an amazing guest experience so they can create lasting memories on their Twin Anchors Houseboat Vacation. Job Description

Job Title:

Marine Mechanic Technician – Twin Anchors Houseboats

Job Function:

Perform inspections, repairs, oil changes and routine maintenance in accordance with the procedures of the Quality System and meet time commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs inspections on returning houseboats
• Investigates and completes necessary repairs based on customer concerns
• Completes necessary repairs to rental boats on water and in dry dock
• Completes quality control mechanical checklist on houseboats
• Completes oil changes on engines and generators
• Performs winterizing operations and spring preparations as required
• Performs functions of customer service as required
• Performs other duties or support to co-workers as the pressures dictate within the Twin Anchors' environment

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Certified mechanical abilities or similar experience
  
• WHMIS training certificate
• Pleasure Craft Operator's Certification
• Ability to deal with customers on a professional level
• Experience doing oil changes on an array of engines

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

• Knowledge of Twin Anchors Operations and Manufacturing, or similar operations
• Experience in marine repair and maintenance
  

*Must currently be legally able to work in Canada*

Starting wage based off relevant experience, starting at $24/HR
