The Regional Fertility Program is hiring a Full-time, Permanent Lead Receptionist for our clinic located in Calgary.

The Lead Receptionist will act as a team captain, supporting the Managing Director and the Receptionists in the achievement of their goals through effective goal setting, encouragement and coaching. They are accountable for dealing with customer complaints, inquires and understands their role as a brand ambassador and provides positive brand experiences to all customers.

The Lead Receptionist is responsible for the daily operations of the Reception department. The Lead Receptionist will focus on improving team performance by assessing team's strength and weaknesses and developing a plan for addressing any needed changes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-performance receptionists in order to meet and exceed patient satisfaction.
  • Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding patient expectations and leading by example
  • Ensure adherence by team members of departmental polices and procedures
  • Support Managing Director in addressing patient complaints in a professional manner, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
  • Build quality relationships with patients to ensure they have a positive experience
  • Support Managing Director in communicating changes in policy, procedures, services or any other alterations that affect delivery of patient care
  • Involvement in Receptionist recruitment, training, evaluations, allocation and other administrative duties
  • Support Managing Director in agenda items for regular Clerical staff meetings
  • Assist patients with billing questions and payment options
  • Troubleshoot issues with the Receptionist team

Preferred Skills

  • A MOA certification or equivalent medical training/designation
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a clinical setting
  • Minimum of 1 years of recent experience as a Receptionist in an assisted reproductive technology program
  • Prior supervisory experience an asset
