The Residential Leasing Manager will provide the ownership with a solid leasing strategy while mentoring/coaching the leasing team. The portfolio consists of two first-class luxury high-rise towers containing 863 units located on 10th Avenue between 4th and 5th Street SW and a 75-unit walk-up building located centrally to the UFC and SAIT.
Working directly with the Development team and the Property Manager, the Residential Leasing Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of leasing specialists to achieve successful lease-up of Centron's newly constructed residential buildings. The successful candidate will manage a CRM platform, program weekly work schedules for the leasing team, coach and mentor the leasing team, create and maintain regular leasing data and analytics,
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Excellent communication with staff, tenants, contractors support personnel, leasing specialists and senior management
- Oversee and manage the administration of recording inquiries for leasing from prospective tenants, provide information on all aspects of properties
- Lease suites with monthly goals in mind to achieve high occupancy rates for the properties
- Train, coach, and develop the leasing team to:
- Represent the company in a professional manner
- determine and identify the needs of the prospective customer
- Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and gather the required information to complete deals
- Ensure all paperwork for leases is completed accurately
- Assist the Property Manager with related administration as required
- Monitoring of branding- inspect properties periodically to ensure proper maintenance, check the cleanliness and maintenance of the building, and report the condition of all vacant suites available for rent
- Work closely with the marketing department
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience in residential leasing a strong asset
- Experience in customer service
- Experience or knowledge of Yardi software will be an asset
- Comfortable in interacting with a variety of people and personalities
- Exceptional planning and organization skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related programs
- Strong English skills
- Ability to build excellent relationships with customers
- Ability to highlight positives and overcome challenges in any situation
- Willing to work on any 5 consecutive days in the week which may include Saturdays or Sundays, month ends, and beginning of months
- Able to effectively manage time and resources to ensure deadlines are met
- Familiarity with the Residential Tenancy Act an asset
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to use at work
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts with 1-weekend shifts per month
Experience:
- Residential Leasing: 5-7 years (preferred)
- Sales: 7-10 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- AB class 5 driver's license (required)
