Our client seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Burnaby to oversee financial planning and analysis for the organization and its affiliates. Responsibilities include developing financial reports, improving processes, and providing analytical support for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare reports for management, executives, and the board, analyzing variances and trends.
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making and process improvement.
  • Assist in implementing new policies, processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Serve as team lead for financial planning and analysis practices.
  • Lead finance projects and documentation management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in complex budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Dynamics Business Central, and MS Dynamics PowerBI.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, along with IT proficiency.
  • Understanding of internal controls, risk management, and process improvement.
