Caron is currently recruiting a Front Desk Administrator on a temporary basis for 6 months, with the the possibility of extension at our Head Office in Sherwood Park. This position resides at the front desk and assists all departments with administrative support, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor and Accounting Manager. This position is the first point of contact for visitors to our Head Office location, answers unassigned incoming calls and completes several office support duties.

Our ideal candidate:

• Administrative Diploma or Certificate preferred
• 2+ years office experience
• Intermediate computer skills

The role:

• Overall Administrative
  • Open and close the office in accordance with operational hours
  • Greet and direct visitors to their contacts
  • Redirect unassigned incoming calls to department
  • Distribute all incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for courier/regular postage
  • Order/process postage for mail machine
  • Monitor, order and maintain company supplied employee snack cupboard
  • Order office supplies and arrange maintenance/repair for office equipment
  • Create PO's for building and administrative services
  • Special projects

• Finance and Administrative:
  • Track incoming paperwork for billing staff

• Safety and Compliance
  • Provide company attendance to assist the Safety Department during safety exercises

• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned
