A DAY IN THE LIFE
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll harness your exceptional organizational and leadership skills and leverage your expertise to play a pivotal role in driving projects forwards! Your role as Project Manager will include:

• Propelling projects with exceptional management skills, ensuring efficient execution, and adhering to schedules and budgets.
• Taking ownership of project health, driving them towards success.
• Inspiring and empowering your team to exceed project expectations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Leading engaging meetings with stakeholders, fostering collaboration, monitoring progress, and providing necessary support.
• Making regular site visits with the Site Foreman, ensuring hands-on involvement and a thorough understanding of project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Interpreting cost reports for accurate and effective project forecasting.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 3+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience in a mechanical engineering role and/or a background in the local plumbing market.
• Prior field experience as a Red Seal Certified Plumber, Gas Fitter, and/or HVAC Technician.
• Eligibility to work in Canada with excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in navigating relevant software, including eSUB, Sitedocs, Plangrid, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project), to streamline and enhance project-related tasks and communication.
• Strong data analysis skills that enable you to extract actionable insights and make informed decisions.
• Well-versed in Plumbing code, local specifications, and construction practices.

NICE TO HAVES

• Relevant and local construction industry experience.
• P.Eng and/or PMP designations.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
