Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. We are looking to hire a competent and creative Dental Laboratory Model Prep Technician to join our growing team. The primary mission of the model prep technician (model tech.) is to pour, duplicate and articulate physical models. The model tech. is expected to be an expert in models, trimming and articulation. The model tech will be able to assess the quality of incoming impressions and provide usable records for the technicians to create their products.
Model Prep Technician Roles & Responsibilities:- Pouring Models
- Trimming models and dies
- Duplicating models
- Articulating models
- Maintaining supplies inventory; keeping equipment operating
- Cleaning of laboratory workspace
- Education: Highschool
- Intense visual concentration when working on dental cases
- Strong communicator with effective interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills
- Team player, client focus, keen to learn, positive attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail
No experience necessary. On-the-job training will be provided. Growth opportunities available.
