Securiguard seeks highly capable security and investigations professionals to join our OFA 2 Guards Team. If you're enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment, expanding your skill set, and exploring potential law enforcement prospects, this opportunity is for youTop of Form. As part of this team, you'll operate within select retail stores, responsible for apprehending shoplifters, tracking repeat offenders, and gathering intelligence on ongoing crime activities.
What you bring:
- Valid BC Security Worker License (Required)
- OFA 2 (Required)
- Security / Loss prevention experience- 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be flexible to work in multiple stores/locations
- Must be able to stand for an 8-hour period
- Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis
- Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required
- Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor
- Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictate
