Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Loss & Prevention Manager who will play a critical role in the daily oversight of LP operations of all Fox Group banners. The LP Manager will reinforce the organization's core values and supports overall company compliance in accordance with company policies. The LP Manager will oversee the training of Store Managers, Store Audits, Addressing Profit Loss and must be able to asses risk exposures, lead the team, and maintain open communication and excellent leadership with all of our internal and external business partners.

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Serve as a business partner in generating, analyzing, and communicating reports related to the organization's stock shortage performance, internal and external investigations, and fraud objectives.
  • Ensure LP duties are completed to Store and department standards
  • Reviewing all CCTV and identifying issues and solving them, along with being responsible for all alarm systems
  • Review inventory accuracy and shortage controls across store environment to determine risk exposures, trends, and provide recommendations to improve and better help store goals
  • Perform and communicate store audits to all store managements team to address operational opportunities
  • Build the department of LP with policies, procedures, and work flow
  • Ensure stores are meeting all Health and Safety in-house functions
  • Collaborate with Store Teams and Head Office to communicate any Loss Prevention directives or initiatives
  • Manage and build reports for the LP department to reduce risk, theft, fraud and inventory shrinkage
  • Conduct internal and external loss prevention investigation and interrogations
  • Lead, motivate, and retain teams of high performing managers
  • Run discount reports and discount audit reports to better enhance the program for all employees and to ensure that the program is utilized properly and in accordance with our policies
  • Organize and manager inventory counts for each brand

Leading the Department by:

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the Loss Prevention department, staying updated on industry best practices and technologies to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Develop and conduct training programs for store staff on loss prevention practices, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
  • Technology Integration: Stay abreast of technological advancements in surveillance and loss prevention tools; recommend and implement new technologies to enhance security measures.
  • Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest ethical standards in all loss prevention activities, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive Loss Prevention Management experience in a high-volume retail based environment
  • Positive, high-energy, collaborative, team-player with a prove record of leadership capabilities
  • Someone who take initiative, accountability and excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Able to perform presentations, reports, metrics, and audits with a great level and attention to details
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Current Provincial Security Guard License
  • Standard First Aid, CPR OPA Level II
  • Regional LP Manager will be reporting to the Senior Financial Controller on the daily operations and dotted line professional to the Global Head of Security Officer
