BUSINESS ANALYST (SUMMER STUDENT)

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Business Analyst Summer Student will work as a member of the Projects team. Applicants must have a strong interest in building web applications, software product development, and solving challenging problems in a team and/or individual setting.

What is the role?

  • Working with various departments to ensure the progression of projects and deadlines
  • Working with the Project Management Office team to review, organization, and ensure that projects are moving forward
  • Assist in the creation of Standard Operation Procedures for various departments
  • Provide documentation and document management support
  • Provide status updates to management and project committees
  • Analyzing data and building of report in PowerBI

What do you need?

  • Complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • PowerBI and Data Analysis experience is an asset
  • Registered in a recognized university or college and working towards a degree in Business Analyst, Project Management, Marketing, Communication or related programs
  • Must be returning to school for the Fall semester

Nice to have skills

  • Interest in global trade, international business, Freight Forwarding, and/or Canadian Customs
  • Project Management
  • Excellent English (written and verbal)
