As ATB's next Managing Director, you will lead a team of Branch Managers. Your role will be to bring out the very best in your team by:

  • Setting a clear direction by translating corporate strategy into successful business plans with the leaders you support
  • Clarifying expectations by helping your leaders understand the connection between their branch's and the market's success, through identifying and developing the right skills and behaviors so you and our teams thrive
  • Attracting, hiring and retaining the right people in the right roles
  • Coaching, providing feedback and measuring performance
  • Abundantly recognizing and celebrating results and successes
  • Knowing your business and creating value through collaboration with partners and stakeholders internally and in the community

Requirements

Managing Director Accountabilities:

  • The agility to adapt by having a clear understanding of business drivers and levers and how to utilize them to make changes to your business plan
  • A demonstrated ability to be a catalyst who inspires new thinking, fresh momentum and focused action in other leaders
  • A talent for synthesizing and sifting through the noise to identify key trends and changes that are affecting your business
  • 10+ years of experience in progressively more senior leadership roles within retail banking
  • Knowledge of branch operations and human resource management principles
