Our client seeks a full-time Acoustical Consultant with technical expertise to join their team in Metro Vancouver, BC.

Key areas include:
- Room acoustics, sound isolation, HVAC noise control, equipment vibration isolation, and outdoor noise propagation.
- Project delivery through traditional methods, design-build, and public-private partnerships.
- Environmental noise and vibration work, including baseline monitoring, impact assessment, and participation in public meetings for major projects.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to impact current and future projects.
- Manage projects from proposal to completion, including measurements, data analysis, acoustical modeling, and reporting.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with other consultants.
- Present technical reports to clients and peers.
- Advocate for acoustics and the firm to clients and regulators.
- Support and guide team members.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of consulting experience in acoustics.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, or related field.
- Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng. or equivalent).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, drafting, and acoustics software.
- Experience with sound and vibration measurement equipment.
- Strong QA/QC procedures experience.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Professionalism, flexibility, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy.
- Consulting environment experience is a plus.
