- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematics.
- Shipping, receiving & inspection of raw material and finished components.
- Assemble components accurately and efficiently using hand & power tools, including table saws & routers, safely and effectively.
- Application of graphics to a variety of mediums.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Quality assurance throughout production and assembly.
- Keeping all projects on track, ensuring that all production & shipping deadlines are met.
- Packaging, crating & shipping of finished projects/components.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and product quality.
- Reporting issues/problems with production/assembly/installation to an immediate supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in the installation of projects on-site as required.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.
- Possesses physical strength and stamina required to lift 30 lbs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time and workload efficiently and effectively.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent color visualization.
- Accuracy in both imperial and metric measurements.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Previous cabinet work, or finish carpentry experience would be considered an asset.
- Job includes moderate to heavy physical activity, such as walking and lifting, daily.
- 40-hour workweek is typical. However, individuals must be prepared to work overtime as projects/tasks/clients require.
- Travel Requirements: This position requires occasional travel across Canada and the USA for project-related purposes.
