This position reports to the Private Equity IT Manager. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for the performance and evolution of their key private equity applications.What you will be doing:

• The primary responsibility of this position is to work on a strategic financial application (Investran) for the private equity business team including
• Coding and developing applications in SQL and .NET directly for SunGard Investran and its integrated applications
• Providing day-to-day application support and maintenance on the SunGard Investran Application and integrated applications
• Resolve escalated application bugs and issues

What you must have:

• 6+ years of professional programming experience developing applications using C# and other .NET technologies, including VSTO, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Services and SQL Server technologies, including SSRS and SSIS.
• Experience with MS SQL optimization and SQL Server performance tuning
• Experience with continuous integration frameworks and processes, test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing environments
• Knowledge of Agile development best practices and experience with project management tools such as Jira
• Knowledge of and experience with SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, SCRUM and KANBAN
• Experience in debugging data related issues in a fast-paced environment for business

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of accounting and reporting principles in the Private Equity area
• Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting FIS Investran solutions
• Strong knowledge of the Investran data model, Accounting and reporting hierarchies, transaction types, batch templates, Active Templates, Allocation Rules, Data Import Utility, and Report Wizard
• Working knowledge of the Investran SDK and API
• Experience with workflow-based applications
• Experience of systems integration, web service and ETL development
