O2E Brands is looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join our team.

For this role's duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of time.
A day in the life:
-Develop financial models to evaluate potential partnerships and investment opportunities and to monitor existing investments.
-Analyze financial statements, projections, and valuations to determine strategic and financial viability of the opportunity and to provide tax-effective recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making.
-Support due diligence and risk assessment on potential transactions.
-In collaboration with FP&A, assist in the development and refinement of the corporate group's overall growth strategy
-Working closely with the Corporate Controller and FP&A, develop operating cash flow forecasts, enhance visibility into global cash balances, optimize working capital, and establish metrics/key performance indicators.
-Cash flow analysis and reporting for all accounts within the corporate group.
-Cash flow management including daily cash monitoring for all accounts within the corporate group to ensure there is sufficient cash for each entity to meet its obligations and to fund various investments.
-Monitor FX and work with the Corporate Controller to come up with solutions (i.e. hedging plan) to optimize FX conversion.
-In collaboration with the Corporate Controller, develop, implement, and maintain treasury and financing/investment policies, procedures, and operational controls.
-Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, emerging technologies, and changes in income tax principals and their application to financial modeling.
-Assist with annual KYC compliance review.
-Support with ad-hoc projects as needed.
What you bring to the table:
-Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
-3 - 5 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, valuation, private equity, or management consulting is required.
-Pursuit of or designated CFA/CPA/CBV is an asset.
-Experience working with multi-currency and medium to large-size organizations with multiple entities.
-Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets and financial analysis tools.
-Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
-Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Experience with Netsuite is an asset
-Understanding of basic accounting principles is strongly preferred.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
-Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas and levels of the organization.
Compensation & Benefits:
-Salary 81,000 - 94,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
