About the Role
Leave your mark on the future of children's mental health. CASA Mental Health is hiring a Program Manager, Medical Clinics, offering a unique chance to lead the development of a medical clinics program in collaboration with physicians and other leaders.
The Program Manager, Medical Clinics will:
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Clinical Operations and the Medical Lead(s) to develop a high-functioning clinical team.
  • Oversee and ensure direct reports utilize a holistic and high-quality model of assessment and treatment planning that is family-centered, trauma-informed and inclusive of biological, psychological, social and cultural factors.
  • Ensure high-quality record management through CASA's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Ensure staff are trained and adhere to CASA policy and practice regarding admission, discharge data collection and clinical documentation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients and families in the complaint resolution process.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of training opportunities at the program level and collaborate with the Clinical Education department for initiatives that may extend to the whole organization.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of a competency framework for the program area.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Clinical Operations to identify service delivery improvements and suggest enhancements with the lens of evidence-informed practice and CASA's strategic and operational plans.
  • Identify budget requirements for human and capital resources for the program area.
  • Ensure patient safety event reporting and immediate risk mitigation.
  • Lead safety event analysis and solution generation.
  • Review quarterly patient safety reports for program-specific trends.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships across programs.
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in nursing; bachelor's degree in nursing with five years of experience in child and family mental health and two years of leadership experience would be considered.
  • Current registration in good standing with a professional college identified under the Health Professions Act.
  • A minimum of five years of clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical leadership experience in a mental health setting.

Conditions of Employment
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption on the basis of a protected legal ground.
  • Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification (training provided by CASA), as well as physical ability to perform all interventions.
