ABOUT YOU

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests. Proactively address tenant issues with professionalism and sensitivity, utilizing effective communication and conflict resolution skills to foster positive relationships and tenant satisfaction.
  • Lease Management: Assist the team in handling all aspects of leasing, including showing homes, conducting tenant screening, and preparing lease documents to ensure a smooth move-in process for new residents.
  • Rent Collection: Assist rent collection procedures and communicate effectively with tenants in collaboration with office team to ensure timely and consistent rent payments.
  • Property Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and coordinate necessary repairs or improvements. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed to uphold the cleanliness and functionality of common areas. Prepare vacant suites by coordinating needed repairs, cleaning, or painting.
  • Emergency Response: Be available to respond to after-hours emergencies and on-call situations, including move-in/move-out assistance and maintenance emergencies. Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot minor repairs and coordinate with external service providers.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of tenant communications, lease agreements, maintenance requests, move-in and move-out reports, and other relevant documentation. Keep organized, detailed and confidential records for all tenants and applicants through our internal software system.
  • Community Engagement: Organize and participate in community events and other initiatives to promote a sense of community and enhance resident satisfaction. Actively seek feedback from tenants and implement strategies for continuous improvement based on their input.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bring 2+ years of experience in related fields, showcasing your depth of knowledge and readiness to tackle any challenge.
  • Demonstrate your willingness to immerse yourself in our vibrant community by residing on-site at our East Vancouver rental building, becoming an integral part of the neighborhood.
  • Display strong organizational skills, effortlessly juggling tasks and prioritizing effectively to keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Show off your exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, approaching every interaction with a customer-centric mindset that leaves a lasting impression.
  • Exhibit basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks, confidently troubleshooting minor issues independently to maintain our spaces at their best.
  • Embrace flexibility in your schedule, readily adapting to varied shifts, including weekends and on-call responsibilities as needed, ensuring our residents' needs are always met.
  • Showcase proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with bonus points for experience with Buildium CRM, demonstrating your adaptability and tech prowess.
  • Highlight your capability to meet the physical demands of the position, from lifting up to 50lbs to confidently handling standard cleaning equipment and navigating ladders with ease.
