POSITION: Maintenance Supervisor
STATUS: Full Time Permanent
SHIFT: Day - Monday Friday
INDUSTRY: Manufacturing
LOCATION: Scarborough, ON

OVERVIEW:

This role requires you to be hands-on and on the shop floor at least 75% of the time.

Assist in the planning & coordination of all activities for the Maintenance department.

Ensure that all equipment & facility meet standards & identify any issues/opportunities by utilizing a Preventative Maintenance system.

Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout facility departments including, Quality, Engineering, Materials & Tool room.

Achieve company objectives & meet targets within budgets & operational plans.

Assist in hiring, evaluations, corrective action & termination of employees in conjunction with Human Resources.

Good PLC & Robot programming skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

Post-secondary education as a Mechanical Engineer and/or Licensed Millwright or licensed Electrician

Previous experience in a leadership role supervising a team

3+ years in a similar role in a stamping/welding environment

Must have strong press/stamping and robotic welding experience
