INS AND OUTS OF YOUR NEW ROLE
In this plumbing position, you work Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Your day-to-day revolves around installing gas lines and plumbing systems in new custom homes. This involves reading blueprints, performing groundwork, and completing rough-ins according to specifications. Prioritizing accuracy, you install water lines, gas lines, hot water tanks, on-demand hot water units, hydronics, and boilers. With your hard work, families can enjoy flawless plumbing systems in their new homes!
If being a New Home Journeyman Plumber sounds right for you, you just need to meet these qualifications:
- Journeyman certification
- Experience in new home construction
- In-depth knowledge about plumbing installation procedures, equipment, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Working knowledge of Alberta plumbing and gas codes as well as boiler and modern hydronic heating system installations
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work
