We are currently seeking a candidate as our Business Development Associate. The ideal candidate for this role would have a resilient personality, a positive attitude and a desire for career growth and advancement.

As a Business Development Associate, will be responsible for driving sales to enhance the promotion of Life Insurance products and services to managing general agencies (MGAs). You will be required to work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential clients, develop strategies to engage them, and build strong relationships that result in successful partnerships.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will be required to:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for business development opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress, and challenges to the management team
  • Arrange and participate in meetings with prospects to present our products/services and discuss solutions
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, understand their needs and pain points, and articulate how our solutions can address their challenges.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and update CRM system with accurate lead and account information, track interactions, and report on sales activity and performance metrics.
  • Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders to build capability and business growth.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service or in new business development roles.
  • Life insurance license or willingness to obtain one (training and support provided)
  • Possess strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Proficient and comfortable in the use of CRM or sales tracking systems
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
