Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000

Job Description:Our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial building projects to join their team in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design efforts for industrial building projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct detailed electrical calculations, studies, and analyses to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within overall project designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating technical concepts and project updates.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial building projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Alberta or eligibility for registration.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software tools for electrical design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, including NEC, CSA, and IEEE.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to think creatively and solve complex technical challenges.
• Experience working on projects in Calgary or the surrounding area is preferred
