Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of industrial equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

What you're responsible for:

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the teams effectiveness
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime periods
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, ensuring timely and effective resolution of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify signs of wear, damage, or potential failures
  • Initiate and execute maintenance projects to address equipment upgrades, modifications, or replacements as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment performance metrics
  • Generate reports on equipment reliability, maintenance costs, and downtime for management review
Qualifications


To join our team:

  • Licensed 433A Millwright
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in an industrial setting
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations
