About the Role

Are you looking for your next opportunity in the insurance industry? MutualONE is looking for an experienced Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Client Services, you will provide administrative support by assisting with renewals, client file reviews, applications, and client requests. You are responsible for providing knowledgeable, effective, and efficient customer service to clients in person and on the phone. You will offer insurance advice and process policy changes.

Desired Competencies

To join our team, you will ideally have:

  • A current and valid General License (OTL), or the ability to obtain one within 30 days
  • CIP completed or in progress
  • Exceptional relationship building and people skills
  • Solid listening, written, and oral communication skills
  • A demonstrated desire to help your neighbours and improve your community
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance
  • Knowledge in farm, commercial insurance an asset
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft office
  • Experience in Powerbroker and Applied Quoting (Compuquote) an asset
  • A commitment to showing relentless respect, kindness, and empathy in all you do
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Criminal Record Check will be required

Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer support to an assigned book of client business responding to member inquiries, renewal reviews, policy change requests, confirmation of coverage, and advising clients on claims questions
  • Provide phone and in-person support to assist clients
  • Determine risk acceptability, complete quotes and complete new business applications
  • Act as an expert resource in insurance matters for MutualONE clients
  • Work in collaboration with MutualONE's underwriting department
  • Be active within the community to support MutualONE's mission
  • Participate in projects and training initiatives
