Position: Warehouse Coordinator

Position Type: Full time

Location: Surrey, BC

Hours of work: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm

Position Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to lead the warehouse in the day-to-day operations and to coach staff on efficiencies and creating a better end user experience. Primary Job Functions

• Supervise and control workflow. Delegation of tasks. Distribute workforce as needed throughout department.
• Supervise staff to ensure work is timely, effective, and in accordance with quality requirements.
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees on procedures.
• Train, rotate and cross-train staff on each aspect of the warehouse processes for all shifts.
• Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals for department.
• Foster a culture of accountability.
• Ensuring that all tools and equipment in warehouse are safe and operational.
• Assist in operations as necessary to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Initiative-taker able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
• Computer use to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other computer work.
• Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
• Class 5 driver's license
• Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided)
