ESF is recruiting for a Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our team at our Saint.John New Brunswick Branch.

In this position you will take a leadership role in the management, planning and execution of civil projects such as linear infrastructure, site development, master planning, pumping systems, reservoirs, and other municipal infrastructure. In this position you will also provide civil engineering services to support our other disciplines, some of which are Bridges, Buildings, Water Resources, Coastal, and Industrial. This variety of projects and opportunities will allow you to be part of many exciting and innovative projects, to experience rewarding challenges, and to find solutions to unique problems. This opportunity will interest candidates who aren't afraid to share their ideas, have strong communication skills, crave organization, and want to hone their project management skills.

You will be a key team member, assisting management and senior Engineers in project planning and execution, proposal writing, business development, and the technical training and oversight of junior staff. In short - there is significant growth opportunity with this position.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage civil related projects.

Coordinate and prepare technical reports.

Coordinate and prepare design and tender documents.

Manage all types of civil projects.

Coordinate internally with multidisciplinary teams for a wide variety of projects.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years experience.

Registration or eligibility for registration with provincial Engineering Associations.

Previous experience working in a consulting environment.

Experience with Water and Wastewater design guidelines.

Exemplary interpersonal skills with team members, other design disciplines, and the public at large.

Detail-oriented, organized, hardworking, with a team player attitude.

Effective time management and an ability to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license and able to travel to job sites within Atlantic Canada.
