Account Coordinator.

An Account Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting the Accounts team with administrative support and project management on a portfolio of clients, coordinating digital marketing campaign efforts. Acting as a point of contact for clients, you'll work to understand the goals and KPIs of each marketing effort and coordinate the internal resources needed to drive results in our campaigns. An Account Coordinator assists with communicating with clients, receiving requests, liaising with internal sales and marketing teams and managing account budgets.

Full-time remote is available nationally (within Canada only, must be willing to flexibly work Mountain and Pacific Standard Time Zone hours ).

Duties & Responsibilities.

Client Management

  • Understands our clients' key contacts, organization structures, processes, and business plans and how they integrate with and impact our client's marketing strategies.
  • Creation and management of client documentation including project jobs, client briefs, workback schedules, and billing documents such as project quotes and invoices Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Ensures that projects are delivered to clients on time and on budget.
  • Nurtures client relationships, anticipates client needs, and identifies solutions and opportunities to educate, grow and add value to client accounts.
  • Monitor and action client communications via Slack and email to ensure the team is in loop on upcoming tasks and deliverables, including sending and meeting agendas and minutes for client meetings.
  • Assists in managing the profitability of your team's portfolio, budgets, project scope, and timelines to ensure timely and profitable delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Constant coordination with internal and external stakeholders to execute deliverables, including task management and follow-up and monitoring resourcing capacity of team members.
  • Partners with the Account Manager and General Manager on their accounts and projects to define strategy, using various marketing approaches to drive and increase ROI for clients.
  • Partners with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of client billing.

Client Projects & Digital Marketing

  • Participates in brainstorms, contributes big ideas, and collaborates with internal team members, using campaign data to drive these conversations
  • Assists in the creation of digital ad campaigns – across channels including social media, search, email marketing, social media advertising, and beyond.
  • Contributes to thought leadership, identifying trends, and applying thinking toward client ROI.
  • Accountable for staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends.
  • Understands the digital and traditional marketing landscape and helps the team to align strategies and tactics with client objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills – you understand how to be clear and concise, while also persuasive.
  • Impeccable attention to detail – nothing gets past you and your QA skills are top-notch.
  • Demonstrated passion for technology and marketing, and how they drive revenue, client satisfaction, and efficiency.
  • Interest in paid advertising – search advertising, social, email, web, and mobile solutions and a basic understanding of how to leverage each to achieve marketing goals.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity.
  • An innovative, creative thinker with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong business acumen skills.
  • Industry training or certifications an asset (ie. Google certifications, Facebook Blueprint, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing or digital marketing role.
  • Undergraduate University Degree or College Diploma in a related field.
  • Experience at an agency is an asset.
