Job Title: Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic

Location: Olds, AB (New 5 bay shop)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $40.00-$47.00 per hour

Work Experience:

Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic: 1 year (required)

Responsibilities:

Repair, maintain, and improve the fleet of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime for field crews.

Collaborate closely with the Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic and Fleet Manager.

Work independently, demonstrating exceptional trade skills and attention to detail.

Adapt to changing situations on the fly and make informed decisions.

Manage time effectively to meet job requirements.

Qualifications:

Journeyman's certificate, Red Seal, or equivalent qualification.

Desire to expand expertise to cover the entire fleet.

Welding and fabricating experience considered an asset.

Field service experience considered an asset.

Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting.

Equipment in Fleet:

Heavy trucks (Cummins and Detroit)

Heavy trailers and super B flat decks

½ ton-1 Ton trucks

John Deere Excavators

John Deere Skid steers
