Our Ride Design team is looking for a CAD technologist/RideHOUSE Specialist! We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for design with design-oriented career ambitions. As a member of the Ride Design Team you will use your creativity, drafting skills and experience to design RideHOUSE structures & RideHOUSE slides, as well as CAD drawings, layouts, and support material. You will be challenged with the unique opportunity to learn industry leading water ride layout design and detailing.

If you've worked as a CAD Technician or Technologist, then you have the skills we're looking for, and together we'll help you apply them to RideHOUSES & waterslides! The experience and exposure you gain in this role will create future growth opportunities within the team.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Work closely with the Sales Team & Design Team to modify RideHOUSE layouts when custom designs are required.
• Work with layouts in a 3D CAD environment
• Utilize CAD software to develop and propose new techniques and processes to improve productivity
• Work with engineering teams on the layout of water slide 3D support structures in AutoCAD
• Prepare documentation in various media such as CAD, PDF, MS-Word, JPEG, etc.
• Support other members of the Ride Design Team as required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

• 2+ years of drafting experience. Experience working in an architectural or engineering environment is an asset
• Proficient with the latest version of AutoCAD software – both 2D & 3D
• Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D modelling software is an asset
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, survey and topographic drawings is an asset
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and ability to balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
