Security Group Ltd is one of Canada's leading security Companies and is seeking local Security Guards to join our team at Kitimat, British Columbia. Successful applicants will monitor and conduct vehicle patrols of pipe stockpile sites, camps, facilities and on-site construction in between Terrace and Kitimat, BC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Monitoring for theft, vandalism, threats, and acts of terrorism
• Remote monitoring of video surveillance and associated investigation
• Incident response, statement taking, and reporting
• Monitoring disruptive behavior in camps
• Monitor and manage access control
• Preventing and monitoring opposition action
• Capturing video surveillance or photographs of incidents or opposition action
• Enforcement of camp rules
• Emergency response support

Qualifications:

• Valid BC Security License
• Valid Class 5 License
• CSTS 2020
• Must pass mandatory Drug and Alcohol Testing
• Basic to Intermediate computer and reporting skills

Additional Information:

• 14 days on, 14 days off
• 12-hour night shift
• Candidates will be provided with camp accommodations during scheduled rotations
• Employees whose principle residence is located a distance from work site or camp will be provided a transportation allowance per rotation as follows:

• • 0-50 km = $0.00
  • 51-149 km = $140.00
  • 150-224 km = $235.00
  • 225+ km = $375.00
  • Note: Travel allowance is only available to those who drive; fly-in/fly-out employees are not eligible
