10 overnight, 12 hour shifts

Position Summary:
ErinoakKids is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Overnight Attendant within our Independent Living Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our youth with diabilities and will aid them in achieving personal goals by maximizing their independence in various living activities. You will be responsible for assisting with bed mobility, transfers, toileting, and emergencies that may arise during the night hours. When assistance is not needed, attendants may sleep. Operation of transfer and mobility equipment may be required.
Qualifications:
- Professional certification or degree/diploma is preferred (developmental service worker, personal support worker);
- Experience working with people with disabilities in personal care;
- Familiarity with transfer techniques, including use of a mechanical lift is an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Flexibility surrounding hours of work.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
