Key Responsibilities
  • Support Fitness Manager with Sales and Selling to achieve club goal.
  • Understands and tracks team targets daily weekly monthly (Personal & Team).
  • Meets or exceeds personal training goals, while assisting the Fitness Manager to achieve the overall club targets.
  • Understanding and taking part in objections handling upskilling for Personal Training presentation challenges - utilizing company guidelines and directives and other team leaders.
  • Assisting Fitness Manager with the management of the team
  • Assist Fitness Manager with conducting a minimum of 1 PT seminar per month to upskill and develop team
  • Create PT programs for one-on-one training, small group PT classes and other specialty programs
  • Assist Marketing Team to create a minimum of 1 educational video/reel/post per month to be used on social media.
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds
  • Administrative Tasks as directed by Fitness Manager
  • Maintain knowledge and participate in all club services, programs and products
  • Working closely with club management to identify issues within that facility & act as a liaison between Personal Trainers and other club leaders
  • Educate members on the Golds Gym British Columbia app to receive their personalized workouts, group class schedules, and more
  • Complete any other related PT Team Leader duties and/ or responsibilities, as required by the Company.
Qualifications
  • Must have Personal Training Sales experience 3-5 years in high paced fitness club
  • Capable of high fitness personal sales volume
  • Must be available to work one weekend day
  • Must be Caring and Compassionate with great communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Ability to navigate through software systems
  • Proof of Personal Training certification (ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, etc.) or BCAK registered Kinesiologist and currently registered with a recognized organization (BCPRA, BCAK, CSEP or CFES)
  • Current Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A Certificate
  • Minimum of $2,000,000 in liability insurance
  • Passionate about fitness and helping others achieving their fitness goals
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and influence people
  • Self-starter
