• Work with customers and account sales representatives to develop required packaging design, quote & samples.

• Finalize product design and support the production team with prototype fabrication & first off approval.

• Validate pricing based on current raw material costs and submit quotations to customers.

• Review incoming purchase orders from customers and validate pricing

• Create requisition forms for raw material and gather required drawings for production (Set up production folder)

• Validate and sign off on first off parts before mass production

• Programming and design in various CAD programs.

• Be the point of contact for the customer throughout the entire project and direct inquiries to the appropriate individuals

• Support the production team by communicating customers' requirements and coordinate the arrival of customer supplied materials

• Create and maintain CAD drawing and assembly instructions to ensure the final product meets customer requirements

• Work with vendor to obtain quotes for raw material, dies and tool

• Analyze current engineering methods used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve.

• Be aware of potential project restrictions or obstacles and take proactive steps to manage them.

• Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and develop steps for their proper execution

• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
