Salary: $35-$40K annual salary

A high-rise building in Mississauga is currently searching for a dedicated live-in Building Superintendent. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, and we are willing to provide training for those who are eager to learn.

Responsibilities Include:

Cleaning/Maintenance

• Maintain building appearance, daily inspection. Ensure cleanliness of entrance and exit of building, all common areas & corridors, including floor maintenance and general grounds maintenance.

Customer Service/Resident Relations

• Collect rents and complete deposits in a timely manner
• Respectively address all Resident questions and concerns in a timely manner
• Always maintain positive relations with all residents
• On-call support for after-hour emergencies on a rotating basis

Safety

• Always ensure resident safety and security
• Promptly respond in a professional manner to all emergencies and document accurately
• Identify any issues and recommend solutions to prevent any incidents

General

• Additional duties as assigned by Property Manager

Qualifications

• Prior experience as custodian, environmental services, commercial cleaning an asset
• Lift 50lb, operate or willing to learn, to operate industrial vacuums & cleaners
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proactive, reliable, dependable and respectful
• Always maintain a positive and friendly attitude

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, Permanent position.
• Salary: $35,000 - $40,000 annually.
• Additional Benefits: Includes a large 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom, ground-floor live-in suite as a taxable benefit.

Work Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call rotation
• Every other weekend
