We are seeking an experienced Purchaser with expertise in sourcing and ordering residential materials and supplies from China for delivery to Toronto. This role specifically requires knowledge of reputable vendors in China and the ability to secure the best prices for materials. The Purchaser will be responsible for procuring materials such as tile, doors, blinds, flooring, and more for our ongoing and upcoming renovation projects. Additionally, maintaining strong relationships with Chinese vendors is essential for this position.
ROLE AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Procurement of materials from China and coordinating delivery to Toronto for all current and upcoming projects
• Establish and maintain relationships with reputable vendors in China
• Ensure timely acquisition of materials, receiving fixture sheets, and approvals within set time frames
• Promptly generate work requests and purchase orders according to project needs
• Collaborate with the operations department to order additional materials
• Upload documents to Google Drive
• Working Remote

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of purchasing experience.
• Experience sourcing and purchasing residential materials and supplies from China is a MUST
• Knowledge of reputable vendors in China and ability to negotiate the best prices

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• College or University Degree
