Location: Neskonlith Indian Band Office
Hourly Wage: $30.00 - $35.00 depending on experience

Job Summary:
The Health Office Manager is integral to ensuring effective and efficient operations within the Health department. This role is responsible for organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety, maintaining the high standards and confidentiality required by the Neskonlith Indian Band.

Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration and Operations:
• Ensure all activities adhere to Neskonlith policies and procedures, under the direction of the Health Director.
• Manage daily office operations, maintain office equipment, order supplies, and oversee facility management.
• Handle financial administration tasks such as signing invoices and managing expense claims as directed.
• Supervise administrative aspects of the Health Department, including data and information management.
• Act as lead for Occupational Health and Safety at the Health Centre.

Support and Coordination:
• Assist the Health Director with the execution of the annual budget and work plans.
• Organize and facilitate training sessions and conference calls.
• Maintain office aesthetic, including general upkeep and coordination of necessary repairs.
• Support the Health Department with event planning and community health initiatives.

Administrative and Reporting:
• Develop and maintain systems for efficient document handling and storage.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and data privacy standards.
• Prepare and submit reports and presentations as required.


Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and flexibly, with minimal supervision.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to handling sensitive health information.
• Required certifications: First Aid, Food Safe; WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Must possess a valid BC Driver's License and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Successful completion of pre-employment RCMP Criminal Record Check.
