The Sales & Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our customers who visit our showroom, call us, or make an inquiry via email. This seasonal summer position requires individuals with an eye for detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving and is comfortable servicing clients in person, on the phone, over email, or on a video conference. You have an eye for detail, building positive relationships with clients, responsible, organized, and love to problem solve.

This is summer employment with the potential option for extension into the fall.

Your duties and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

• This role will primarily be focused on handling retail store inquiries on rental products for the Special Event Industry.
• Shifts 9 am-5 pm Monday to Friday, and as the business requires.
  
• Maintain records related to sales.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain products based on customer event needs.
• Sell, or arrange, for delivery and/or event setup services for rental products.
• Responsible for responding to customer inquiries for information and sales in a timely manner.
• Work with potential clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Completes accurate processing of all transactions including open and closing procedures.
  
• Follows up with every client for accurate quotes, ordering, delivery requests and payments.
• Assist in physical set-up of events as needed. (can lift between 30 to 50 lbs)
• Researches and stays on top of latest trends in wedding and event industry.
• Assist and support the linen picking process, backing up the lead picker as required.
