Key Qualifications
Effective Leadership and Team Building:
Demonstrated ability to create and nurture a workplace culture aligned with core values, with a focus on providing exceptional client care.
Experience in developing Personal Performance Plans for team members and providing regular coaching to help them achieve their goals.
Proven track record in recruiting and retaining skilled veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
Financial Management:
Having a solid understanding and extensive experience in financial management, especially in relation to profit and loss.
Proven track record in consistently meeting monthly and quarterly revenue budgets, displaying creativity and persistence in achieving targets.
Experience in monitoring and taking action against expenses that exceed budgeted levels while ensuring the quality of care is maintained.
Inventory Management:
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and executing an efficient inventory management system, including conducting monthly full inventory counts.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a cost of goods at or below 25%.
A successful Practice Manager should possess these qualifications to effectively lead the team, manage finances, control inventory, and optimize key performance indicators to ensure the practice's success and growth while delivering top-notch care to clients and their pets.
