About the role

We're looking for an Intermediate Product Designer whose primary focus will be on understanding user needs and crafting exceptional experiences. Working alongside our talented team, you'll have the opportunity to create and deliver outstanding products. Collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering, you'll tackle complex design challenges and develop impactful solutions.

What you'll do

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups using Figma, ensuring seamless asset and component creation that contributes to Bold's design system
  • Collaborate closely with developers during design reviews to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs
  • Lead workshops and research efforts to gather valuable insights for informed decision-making, contributing to product strategy and enhancing user experience
  • Facilitate usability sessions and interviews to inform design decisions, ensuring alignment with user needs
  • Synthesize research findings and data to propose optimal solutions to stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making
  • Utilize effective communication through copywriting, presentations, and user interviews to clearly and persuasively communicate design concepts
  • Foster collaboration and learning within the design team and with stakeholders by sharing valuable knowledge and insights

What we're looking for

  • Relevant post-secondary education, such as web design or related fields, is preferred, though equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in product design, with a strong grasp of design principles and methodologies
  • Proven track record in translating user needs into intuitive and visually appealing designs across various platforms and devices
  • Proficiency in Figma is preferred, with experience in Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite considered a bonus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members
  • A portfolio showcasing previous design projects and highlighting problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to iterate based on feedback
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to evolving priorities and project requirements while maintaining high-quality standards
