We have a full-time opportunity for a Business Analyst and support our client with their SharePoint Upgrade project. This project will involve taking their existing on-premises SharePoint 2013 environment and migrating all of their servers onto a new hybrid environment. Their hybrid environment will be a mix of on-premises SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online in the Azure Cloud. The new environment will need to be designed and implemented. They will also need to migrate their existing SharePoint sites while ensuring they are tested and working in the new environment.
Responsibilities:

• To elicit requirements from internal users and develop detailed requirements for system acquisition, development or enhancement projects/work orders.
• Work closely with the Business, Project Manager, Solution Architects, Developers and other IT&S resources and 3rd party representative as applicable to develop the deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Desired: Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration or related equivalent
• Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP); or Certified Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA); or Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA); or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Required: Experience as a Business Analyst in mid to complex information technology implementations
• Asset: SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online and other cloud / hybrid solutions
• Desired: Experience fulfilling business analyst role on medium to large IT projects with a strong understanding of both the business needs and technology capability to deliver projects. Understanding of the T shaped skills for Business Analysis including:
  • Project Management/Administration
  • Organizational Change Management
  • User Experience
  • Testing / Quality Assurance
