Job description

Sprinkler Deficiency Sales Specialist will work closely with the Deficiency Sales Team throughout assigned regions to prepare sprinkler deficiency quotes, and other life safety products offered by CFLS while providing our clients with outstanding customer service.

A Sprinkler Deficiency Sales Specialist is responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:

Responsibilities

  • Prepare deficiency related quotes for CFLS customers for any of their fire protection systems.
  • Complete quotation follow-ups with clients
  • Pricing T&M jobs
  • Continue to expand your knowledge of fire codes, building codes and fire protection standards.
  • Keep up to date on new technology and new products being offered in the fire protection industry.
  • Provide regular communication, both formal and informal with the Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Service Managers as it relates to service-related quotes and customer enquiries.
  • Assume responsibility for your role and serve as a mentor to others, guiding team members to expand their understanding of sprinkler systems.
  • Capable of providing support for minor sprinkler repairs or handling straightforward requests
  • Identify obstacles and challenges in systems or processes, proposing solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
  • The preferred candidate should be located in London, although candidates from the GTA or Cambridge will be considered.
  • Willingness to travel between offices as needed and attend on-site visits to assess the scope of work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in the sprinkler industry
  • Certified Journeyperson, previous design, estimating or sprinkler deficiency quoting experience preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems preferred, and understanding of NFPA 13
  • Detail oriented.
  • Competent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office and customer management software/applications
  • Good interpersonal skills with staff and customers
  • Organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a calm and effective manner.
