We're looking for a Product Developer to join our team and be a part of our next stage of growth. As our Product Developer, you'll live on the frontier of Salesforce development, developing new techniques, patterns, practices and tools to accelerate our impact. Skills

Traction Rec'rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in object-oriented programming on a product
  • Web development experience using component based JavaScript frameworks
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a highly collaborative development team
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Experience working on teams practicing trunk based development and continuous delivery paradigms is a plus
  • Bonus points if:
    • You've worked in nonprofit, community centers.
    • You're a results oriented person who likes to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
    • You're energized by continuously delivering value to customers.
    • You're confined only by your imagination, not your job description.

Salesforce ISV experience not required - if you have strong fundamental product developer experience in other industries, and would be eager to lean into something new, we'll be happy to teach you the platform specifics.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Oversee proposed solutions to problems and ensure the implemented software will meet business objectives well into the future
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as part of tier 3 support
  • Design and develop features for our web and mobile applications
  • Participate in monthly “spike days” where we all pair up and build whatever we want

Compensation

At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.

The starting salary band for this role is $80,000-$90,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role.
