We are looking for a Production Representative to join our Operations Team here at WISI.
This position is full-time and is required to be in the office Monay-Friday.

The Role:Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Representative will assist in the day-to-day operations activities to fulfill orders. We are a small passionate team focused on fulfilling our customer's requirements in a timely manner and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

This is an amazing opportunity to grow your skill set and get involved in a wide range of operations activities. You will be given all the necessary training required to be successful in your role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders, including:
    • Receive purchase orders and create sales orders.
    • Create and complete work orders and item fulfillment records.
    • Create and manage shipments.
    • Prepare and email invoices.
  • Assemble, test and package carrier-grade products for shipment.
  • Finalize customer orders and update the database.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, or customer issues.
  • Handle product evaluations.
  • Handle product returns.
  • Receive inventory.
  • Perform month-end inventory procedures.
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' manufacturing experience ideally in a tech-based environment.
  • A self-starter and independent but knows how to take direction or ask for help.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and able to alter focus quickly as daily demands change.
  • Strong ability using MS office.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30lb.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
  • A roll up your sleeves and can-do attitude – willing to jump in and help when situations arise.
  • Excellent attention to detail and outstanding organization and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a local resident - Greater Vancouver area and can come into the office 5 days per week (a vehicle will be necessary due to lack of transit access in this location).

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience using an ERP system (NetSuite).
  • Previous experience supporting H&S practices (member of JOHSC committee).
  • First Aid level 1.
