You will

  • Be the hub for People-related questions/needs
  • Provide administrative support to the People team and their activities
  • Create and post advertisements for open positions, and assist with recruitment duties
  • Assist in maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (BambooHR)
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding schedules and conduct orientations
  • Ensure new hire paperwork is completed and processed (BambooHR)
  • Coordinate offboarding responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute People announcements
  • Process invoices for payment
  • Assist with setting up meetings, completing expenses and catering orders
  • Explain human resource policies, procedures, laws and standards to new and existing employees

You have

  • A minimum 1 - 2 years HR experience
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation
  • A high level of discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills within a team environment
  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business or a related discipline is an asset

Salary

Estimated annual salary range is $55,000.00 - $65,000.00, based on experience.
