Recruiter-Receptionist – (On-site: 2920 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 201, L4W 5R6)

Reporting to the HR Generalist, the Recruiter/Receptionist will play a key role in filling vacancies as quickly as possible and intergrading qualified candidates to our fast-paced growing Company while being the first point of contact for our visitors at the front desk reception at Foodtastic.

Responsibilities:

Recruiter

  • Identifying future hiring needs and implementing recruiting strategies to source candidates.
  • Developing and updating job descriptions and specifications and staying up to date with recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
  • Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, colleges, etc.
  • Posting jobs on various recruiting platforms.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
  • Conducting first round interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
  • Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
  • Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Providing recruitment reports to team managers.
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned.

Receptionist

  • Managing the reception area and greeting clients/visitors.
  • Offering excellent customer service.
  • Managing all incoming emails (responding and/or redirecting).
  • Answering phone calls.
  • Managing documentation and file organization based on office protocol.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • Responsible for mail posts.
  • Responsible for maintaining the kitchen (cleaning the coffee machine, ordering milk, ensuring the cleanliness).
  • Performing other related administrative tasks as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Must be fully bilingual (English & French)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a recruiter.
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated initiative in task execution.
  • Team player, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Excellent skills and demonstrated knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams).
