Role Introduction: Live-In Superintendent

Elevate and maintain the standard of residential communities across the Greater Toronto Area. In the pivotal role of a Live-In Superintendent, you become an indispensable asset, ensuring flawless operations and resident satisfaction within our client's properties. Responsibilities Include:

  • Routine Equipment and Systems Checks: Execute daily inspections to guarantee the optimal functioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Maintenance of Property Aesthetics: Preserve the property's curb appeal, including landscaping and cleanliness of communal areas, to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Efficient Suite Turnovers: Facilitate quick and effective turnovers, preparing units for new residents to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain logs detailing daily activities, maintenance requests, and emergency responses.
  • Proactive Systems Monitoring: Oversee and troubleshoot issues within building automation systems promptly.
  • Preventative Maintenance Leadership: Organize and oversee the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure the longevity and efficiency of property equipment and systems.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and aesthetic upkeep, to uphold high standards of living.
  • Safety and Compliance: Actively participate in maintaining fire and life safety protocols and ensuring compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.

We're Seeking Someone With:

  • Physical Capability: The role requires physical tasks, demanding a level of fitness and stamina.
  • Effective Communication: Strong command of English, capable of clear and concise communication.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships with residents and team members.
  • Multitasking Proficiency: Skilled at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Technical Savvy: Basic computer literacy is essential for managing communications and records.
  • Regulatory Awareness: A good understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act, Building Code, Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Valid Drivers License: A valid G Driver's Licence is required.
  • Clear Criminal and Credit Check: A clean slate in terms of criminal history and financial responsibility is crucial for this role.
