Why this role is significant
The Janitor position in our resort is an essential role within the housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring the immaculate cleanliness of guest accommodations. As a Janitor, you will work independently, but your contributions to the team will be highly valued. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are crucial for this role, as the highest level of quality work often goes unnoticed by guests.
A day in the life
- Organizing and preparing supplies for daily cleaning duties.
- Ensuring that the resort's public areas, including the lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other common areas, are clean and well-maintained.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance activities and documenting them appropriately.
- Cleaning additional guest and staff areas as needed.
- Maintaining all flooring by washing, waxing, vacuuming, and sweeping as required.
- Cleaning and servicing designated areas such as dusting, vent cleaning, and restrooms.
- Ensuring all resort windows are clean and free of streaks.
- Emptying all trash receptacles regularly.
- Complete deep cleaning tasks and special projects.

- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays on 6am-2pm and 11am-7pm shifts.
- Ability to perform physical work and stand for long periods of time.
