Exciting Opportunity: Revenue Accountant - Markham, ON

We are on the lookout for a motivated Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with operations and other revenue cycle partners to streamline administrative duties, enhance revenue processes, and tackle billing challenges effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Expertly manage sales orders in our ERP/Contract Revenue Management System, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed terms with partners and customers.
  
• Conduct meticulous reviews of billing line items and revenue recognition, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and compliance with company policies.
  
• Initiate setups for new customers, including sales tax coding and billing configurations.
  
• Conduct timely reconciliations of Unbilled and Deferred Revenue schedules, enhancing our financial accuracy.
  
• Play a pivotal role in our monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, including support for external audits and internal control verifications.
  
• Proactively monitor and address any discrepancies in billings backlog, coordinating closely with operations teams to maintain seamless billing operations.
  
• Engage in diverse projects, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our financial and operational strategies.

What You'll Bring:

• At least 1 year of experience in a multi-currency, multi-division environment, ideally with exposure to the SaaS or software sectors.
  
• Proven expertise in order processing within a Billing or Order Management environment.
  
• Familiarity with Great Plains or similar accounting platforms is highly desirable.
  
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision in all aspects of your work.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, coupled with strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  
• The ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks in a high-volume setting.
