Due to growth in our practice, our team is looking for ambitious individuals interested in Dental Assisting. At Lynden Hills Dentistry we provide you with the tools and resources as well practical skills and experience needed to work competently, effectively, and safely as a Dental Assistant.

What you'll be doing

Working as part of a professional team alongside the Primary Dentist, your primary goal is to support the team in being efficient and effective. Ensuring that patient comfort and care is the number one priority. You will be utilizing all of your level II duties by mainly assisting our hygienist.

You will be responsible for:

· Setting up trays and operatories, and chart quickly and accurately

· Ensure prompt patient check-ins and check-outs

· Assist Hygienist by completing all level II duties and helping them stay on time.

· Assist with comprehensive oral examinations including personal interviews, accurate charting, chart audits, and equipment maintenance.

· Back up assistant for the Doctors

· Provide infection control support and back up, including sterilization, room turn over and keeping up with IPAC

This is an active and dynamic role, well-suited to someone who loves interacting with patients, providing the highest quality care, and helping the clinic run flawlessly.

Qualifications

· Level II Dental Assistant Certification (NDAEB)

· Current immunization record

· BLS/CPR certification

· Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

· Willingness to provide quality care to patients while maintaining commitment to excellence.

· Ability to work well in a team.

· Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail.

· Self-starter with strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

· Ability to remain calm under pressure and navigate situations with a solution-oriented approach.

The Details

This is a full-time position, with a competitive total compensation plan. We are conveniently located in Brantford, ON just off the 403 highway.
